Sri Lanka have recalled Dinesh Chandimal and Lahiru Thirimanne for the ongoing ODI series against India. The Lankan Lions will miss their captain Upul Tharanga in the next two matches of the five-game series.
The ICC has suspended Tharanga for slow over-rate in the 2nd ODI in Pallekele. According to reports, opener Danushka Gunathilaka could also miss the next two one-dayers. He has sustained a shoulder injury.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan selectors have named Chamara Kapugedera as their skipper for next two games. The Lankan Lions are in a must-win situation to keep the ODI series alive, as they are trailing 2-0 currently.
The Islanders also need atleast two wins in their next three games to book a direct berth in the 2019 World Cup.
