Australia legend Shane Warne has expressed his desire of coaching the Indian Cricket Team. The Aussie said he want to work with a talented team like India.

Indian team has been operating without a coach since the departure of Duncan Fletcher. Meanwhile, Ravi Shastri was working as team’s directory, but his contract has also ran out.

India are slated to play Zimbabwe after the Indian Premier League; the Indian Cricket Board has three months to decide on the new coach.

“I would love to work with the Indian team,” Warne said. “They are a very talented, wonderful team to work for. There’s a lot of pressure (working with them).

“There are about a billion-plus people supporting the Indian cricket team,” he added. “If you make a mistake you cop it. I have copped it plenty of times on many different things.”

“I’ve never said never in my life to anything. I’ve always been open to anything so when it comes to coaching India, coaching an IPL (Indian Premier League) team – coaching England, maybe not.”

Warne has experience of coaching in India, as he was a player-coach of the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. He led them to tournament win in 2008.
