The Indian team is set to start its limited-overs assignment against Sri Lanka this Sunday. They will play a five-match ODI series, followed by a one-off T20. Just like the Test series, the Indian are favorites in the one-dayers too.
One man who will be under the spotlight once again is Mahendra Singh Dhoni. MS Dhoni is making a comeback into the team after a break, as he is not a part of the Test squad. And, there are plenty of records that will be in sight.
Dhoni is just three away from doing 100 stumpings, a world record in the ODIs. He is currently tied with Sri Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara, who has 97 stumpings to his name in the one-dayers.
Meanwhile, Dhoni is now just four matches short of completing his 300 outings for India in the ODIs. He will become only the sixth Indian to reach this landmark figure, and join the likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid.
The destructive batsman is also just two fifties away from making a century of fifties. And, if MS Dhoni continues to remain in form, he will complete his feat against the Islanders.
