Nike is Indian Cricket Team jersey maker since 2006. It pays Rs 360 crore rupees to the Indian Cricket Team to be the official kit sponsor of the national team, both men and women. But, according to reports in media, the players and board officials are lately not happy with the quality of kits.
The Indian cricket board officials have raised the issue with COA chairman Vinod Rai. Rai has also expressed concerns on the sub-standard kits that are being provided to the Indian cricketers.

“It (Nike’s clothing) has come up for discussion in last COA meeting and chairman CoA (Vinod Rai) took it very strongly,” Chief Executive Officer Rahul Johri said.
“The team cannot have sub-standard kits and we will be engaging with Nike and he has asked to put our case strongly. We have to engage with them, we will have a meeting with them next week and try to resolve it at earliest.”
