Pakistan have included pacer Mohammad Amir in the 17-member team that will be playing four Test matches against England in August.

His playing, however, depends upon getting United Kingdom’s visa. The Pakistan Cricket Board is hopeful that Amir will be given the visa in the coming days.

“I hope we do get the required visa by next week,” Inzamam said. “In case Amir doesn’t get the visa, we can replace him with a fast bowler from Pakistan A squad which will also be touring England.”

Amir had served a six-month jail sentence in England for his involvement in spot-fixing. He also faced a five year suspension from international cricket.

The 24-year-old made a comeback into the Pakistan team this January against New Zealand. This will be the first time since suspension he will be playing Test cricket.

Pakistan have included pacer Sohail Khan, who last played Test cricket in 2011, in the squad, while Mohammad Hafeez, Zulfiqar Babar and Yasir Shah are making comeback from injuries.

Pakistan Test Squad: Misbah-ul-Haq (c), Mohammad Hafeez, Shan Masood, Sami Aslam, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Asad Shafiq, Iftikhar Ahmed, Sarfraz Ahmed, Mohammad Rizwan, Zulfiqar Babar, Yasir Shah, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan, Sohail Khan.
