In a video, MS Dhoni was seem placing a white Kookaburra at a bat’s length from the stumps on the off-side. He was practicing his shots against England, as they were preparing yorker against him.

Jasprit Bumrah, India’s yorker specialist, gave practice to Dhoni. This was in January 2017, when England toured India. It showed Dhoni’s passion and motivation towards cricket after leaving the captaincy.

“I’ve been working on it for a while, basically trying to work on getting myself more upright in my stance,” Dhoni had said. “I noticed that the head is bending over a little and is not in line with the front toe.”

Dhoni has achieved a lot including 2 World Cups and a Champions Trophy. Not only his captaincy, but his batting also speaks a volume about his credentials. He has a batting average of 50.89 in ODIs and 36.63 in T20s.

Dhoni is a boss in tackling full-length balls. He generates immense power in his shots, his composure and confidence are intimidating. Dhoni loves attacking spinners, and reading the match situation correctly.
