MS Dhoni’s brilliant innings helped India beat West Indies in 3rd ODI in Antigua. He was named the man of the match for his match-winning innings. In the post match conference, he joked that he is getting better with age.
In the post-match presentation, when asked about getting better with age he joked, “It’s like wine”.
Dhoni shattered a number of records in the 3rd ODI. He also surpassed Adam Gilchrist to become the 2nd highest run-scorer as a wicketkeeper-batsman in the one-dayers. “Top order has been doing the bulk of the scoring in the last one-one and a half years,” Dhoni insisted. “So it felt good to get an opportunity and score runs.”

India lost early wickets but then Dhoni came in to bat. He said he had a target in his mind and it was important to build partnership. “It was important to have a partnership at that stage,” he said. “In my mind I had 250, and we got there, with Kedar batting with me at the end”
Dhoni feels it’s important to instruct and mentor spinners. He even talked about Kuldeep’s game. “Kuldeep has played a lot of games, IPL, T20 format,” Dhoni insisted. “When it comes to international cricket, it’s important to know where to use your variety.”
