If there were any doubts about his form whatsoever, MS Dhoni put them to rest in his own trademark style. The destructive right-hander played his signature knock in Antigua to give India an unassailable lead in the ODI series.
Dhoni made an unbeaten 79-ball 78 on a two-paced pitch. He played the match-winning knock, when others failed to switch gears when required. His partnership in the death overs ensured India score 100 runs in the last 10 overs.

The Indian team posted 251, after they lost in-form opener Shikhar Dhawan (2) and Virat Kohli (11) inside 10 overs. Just when Yuvraj Singh (39) seemed to have survived a testing phase, he was trapped lbw by Devendra Bishoo.
It then went to Dhoni and Ajinkya Rahane to take India to a respectable total. The job got tougher for Dhoni, as Rahane (72) failed to up the ante. He eventually dismissed by Miguel Cummins.

Then Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav (40 not out) made an unbeaten 81-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Their partnership ensured that India post a fighting total. India then went on to win the game by 93 runs.
Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin picked three wickets each, while Hardik Pandya took two. Pacer Umesh Yadav chipped-in with one, as the West Indies got bundled for a paltry 158 inside 39 overs.
