Australian Moises Henriques has been released from the hospital, after his Surrey teammate Rory Burns was discharged yesterday, following their horrific collision during a T20 game.
Surrey informed on their Twitter page: “More good news on the lads – Moises has now been released from hospital and will see a dental specialist tomorrow. He’s improving slowly!”
Henriques and Burns collided while attempting a low catch during a NatWestT20 game against Sussex. Both players were left unconscious and given immediate medical attention.
Burns, who looked more serious after the clash, received several stitches on cheek and head, while Henriques broke his jaw from three places and received a dental surgery.
