The Indian team has an upper hand over Sri Lanka, as they are all set to test their chances of reaching the semifinals. This group B fixture is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am local time in London.
Keeping in mind the previous matches, the team which wins the toss will have to bowl first.
Team India: India will field the winning combination as they don’t have any injury concerns. Opener Shikhar Dhawan scored an impressive fifty against Pakistan and is expected to be a key batsman.
There are huge expectations from Virat Kohli as well. Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja were the standout performers with the ball. Jadeja has seven wickets from two matches on this ground. India has won four out of five one day internationals they have played so far.
Sri Lanka Team: Sri Lanka’s stand-in skipper Upul Tharanga will miss the game against India because of a suspension. Angelo Mathews will be coming back for this match.
Niroshan Dickwella and Angelo Mathews will bring stability to the Sri Lankan team. With the last few matches India has an upper hand on Sri Lanka and is expected to emerge victorious.
