The Indian selectors have announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming West Indies tour. They have rested Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah for the six-match limited-overs series in the Caribbean.
Virat Kohli confirmed that it is a conscious decision of resting Rohit. The Indian opener is making a comeback after recovering from a knee injury. Kohli also revealed that Rohit is also feeling stiffness in his knee.

“I think it’s a conscious decision by everyone to give him a break,” Kohli said. “He’s making the most of the form he’s in right now, and I’m sure he also knows and understands the whole situation.”
The selectors have named young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant in place of Rohit. Meanwhile, left arm chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav has replaced pacer Bumrah in the squad.
