Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir feels that he will play in the Champions Trophy final against India. Due to the injury the left-arm pacer has already missed Pakistan’s semifinal against England in Cardiff.
“I am fast gaining fitness,” Amit revealed. “I bowled in the nets and felt no discomfort and since we have one more day (to prepare). Hope the recovery will be complete. Look forward to playing as it’s a big occasion.”

The 25-year-old player was banned from international cricket and got a jail sentence for his involvement in 2010 spot-fixing during a test against England. But now, Amir has become mainstay on Pakistan team.

Amir, however, was hardly missed on Wednesday with Rumman Raees made his ODI debut. Raees took two wickets.
Amir received treatment from Pakistan’s medical staff in the off days. “We will go with Amir if he is fit,” bowling coach Azhar Mahmood said. “But we don’t mind if he is not fit, then we move on with Rumman Raees.”
