Fresh from a Test win in Bangladesh, Australia continued their winning momentum. They defeated Board President XI in the practice match by 103 runs. The big game, however, will take place on September 17 against India.

Batting first, Australia posted a mammoth 347. David Warner, Steve Smith, Marcus Stoinis and Travis Head scored fifties for them. In reply, the Indians could only score 244, and bundled inside 50 overs.

Ashton Agar picked four wickets for the Aussies, while Kane Richardson took two. James Faulkner, Adam Zampa and Stoinis picked one wicket each to round off Australia’s thumping start of the tour.
