Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni rolled back the years, and stuck centuries in Cuttack. They helped the Indian team in posting a mammoth total at the Barabati Stadium by stitching a 256-run record stand for the fifth wicket.
In the post-match presentation, Yuvraj revealed his chemistry with Dhoni. Yuvraj said that he has played a lot of cricket with Dhoni, and they both share good understanding and camaraderie with each other.
“We always have been batting together since he started his career,” Yuvraj said. “Obviously I started much earlier. Mahi and me have played a lot of games for India. The camaraderie is always there.”
“I think we’ve a lot of understanding when we bat together,” he added. “Running between the wicket is always good.”
Both Yuvraj and Dhoni decimated the English attack in Cuttack. They counterattacked when the Indian team was reeling at 25/3. India eventually won the game by 15 runs and sealed the three-match ODI series.
Yuvraj scored his 14 ODI hundred after almost six years, while Dhoni made his 10th one-day century.
