Ask Australia how rain led to their early exit from the Champions Trophy. But, the weather has been kind to both India and Pakistan so far. In their group clash Duckworth-Lewis did play a part, but it was India’s game anyway.
According to initial weather forecast, the spectators will get to enjoy a full-fledged match. There could be some isolated thunderstorm activities, but nothing that can hamper the big final between these archrivals.

Most importantly, there is a reserve day for the game. According to BBC weather forecast the Sunday will remain “hot and sunny with light winds. Just a slight chance of an isolated heavy shower developing during the afternoon”.
India have already defeated Pakistan in the group stage. The defending champions inflicted a heavy 124-run defeat on the subcontinent rivals. In the Sunday’s final too, India heading into the game as clear favorites.

Pakistan, meanwhile, have won three successive game, since losing to India to reach the final. But, they are still a long way behind the Indian team in three departments of the game. They need to pull off something spectacular to stop the Indian team from winning back-to-back Champions Trophy titles.
