Virender Sehwag could become Kings XI Punjab’s coach in the upcoming Indian Premier League season. Sehwag mentored the team last season, but it would be interesting to see how he coach the squad.
The Kings would be hoping to swung their fortunes after a horrendous outing in the last season. They finished last in the league, with just four wins in 14 games. However, they finished second in the IPL 2014.

Sanjay Bangar has recently parted ways with the Punjab-based squad. He, reportedly, had a number of stand-offs last season with KXIP owner, Preity Zinta. Bangar is currently working as Indian cricket team’s batting coach.
Punjab is going through a massive overhauling. The team has recently released players like Mitchell Johnson, Kyle Abbott and Rishi Dhawan. Punjab, however, has chosen to stick with Glenn Maxwell and David Miller.
