Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore Peaking at Right Time

Royal Challengers Bangalore are generally start their IPL campaign with a bang and losing the fizz in the business end of the tournament. This year has been different.

Virat Kohli and his men started off their IPL season with a mixed bag and started to peak just when it matters the most. KL Rahul was the one who raise this point during one of the media interaction last week.

Rahul categorically stated how his team’s plan of action is to all the remaining league matches to reach the IPL playoffs “I honestly believe that the team is peaking”.

He is right. The top-order order has come together, they field well and take sharp catches and even the bowling bit, which was a weak-link, is started to look better.

“We have to go out there and start playing fearless cricket,” Rahul had said while adding the rest of the four league matches are must win games for his team.

Rahul’s prediction from the previous week came true. They won the first match against the Gujarat Lions by 144 runs. Against the Kolkata Knight Riders, the Royal Challengers were right at the top of their game.

They bowled well in patches, fielded equally good and even chased the winning target better. Captain Kohli is in the form of his life.

He has registered the most number of runs (752 runs) in an IPL season and still counting. Most importantly, the RCB have managed put the fear of losing into the hearts of the opposition.
