India made a strong statement at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium with a thrilling win over Australia. They came from behind to level the series, and showed character and determination in the 2nd Test.
India captain Virat Kohli was ecstatic with the win in Bengaluru. He even termed it the sweetest under his captaincy.

“For sure. Till now, this is the best one definitely,” Kohli said. “I don’t want to say too much, because the game panned out the way it did, and there’s not much left to say. It was a quite emotional game for us.”
“It was quite draining as well,” he added. “Everyone got along together, we showed team spirit.”

The Indian captain called it a team effort, and insisted that they did well to pull off the game after opening day’s play.
“A lot of people were talking about the head of the snake, but I think the snake did pretty well by itself,” Kohli said. “So it’s not just about one individual.”
