There are no doubts that Indian Cricket Team captain MS Dhoni is one of the greatest finishers in the game of cricket, but that is not it.
The captain cool, who loves playing football, and supports English Premier League club Manchester United, is equally good in soccer as well.
Dhoni has been seen practicing with his Indian Super League side, Chennaiyin FC. He has made football a normal routine in Team India’s practice session.
It was in 2013, when Dhoni took the football field for charity, and his clinical finish, beating three defenders and a goalkeeper was the highlight of the game.
The match was played between Abhishek Bachchan’s The All Stars Football Club, featuring Bollywood stars, and Virat Kohli-led All Heart Football Club, having cricketers.
Dhoni’s strike ensured that the cricketers walk away with a narrow 4-3 win over the actors, who gave a stiff competition in the match.
Kohli, who was leading the cricketers, gave a beautiful pass to Dhoni, who sprinted into the opposition’s area and scored a fantastic goal. Even India’s football skipper, Sunil Chettri, was seen applauding Dhoni’s effort.
