Mustafizur Rahman is the biggest thing to have happened in international cricket.
His controlled off-cutters, immaculate swing and ability to bowl toe-crushing yorkers at will have made so special that some of the big names of world cricket aren’t shying away from declaring him as the best pacer in the shorter formats of the game.
However, Mustafizur, isn’t someone who will get carried away easily. “I am new to this level of cricket. I am not in a position to judge how I am doing on the field. But I have just started to enjoy my game. Please pray for me,” he was quoted as saying in the media recently.
Mustafizur also made it clear that he is a man of less words and more action because action speaks louder than words.
“I don’t complicate things for myself. I try to keep the basics of the game intact,” he said, while adding “performance is the only way out to keep going at the highest level.”
When asked about his exploits with the ball in the IPL, Mustafizur said, “As a bowler, I just doing the job I have been told to do. I enjoy bowling and want to keep doing my job without making much fuss about it.”
