Sri Lanka will have their third captain of the series when they step on the field in the 4th ODI. Lasith Malinga will lead the Lankan Lions against India in Colombo. He has replaced Chamara Kapugedera as the skipper.
Upul Tharanga, Sri Lanka’s regular ODI captain, is facing a two-game suspension. He will return for the 5th ODI after serving the ban for slow overrate in the 2nd ODI. Kapugedera had replaced him for two matches.

Kapu, however, has hurt his back in the last game against India. He is set to miss the next game. This is not all, Dinesh Chandimal has already been ruled out of the series, which Sri Lanka has lost already.
Meanwhile, opener Danushka Gunathilaka is having a sore shoulder. A Hardik Pandya delivery got the better of him in the last game. The Indian team has already sealed the series with three successive wins.
