When Rising Pune Supergiants coach Stephen Fleming had said that his team is targeting title in their maiden campaign, he wasn’t jesting.
“We are realistic about how hard it is to win the IPL, but we are certainly not here to make up the numbers,” Fleming had said. “We have got the desire to win the IPL in our first year and make a statement.”
The tournament is yet to start, but seeing the intensity in the practice sessions of the team it is pretty much clear that the MS Dhoni-led side is certainly a team to watch out for this season.
On Monday, captain Dhoni took the nets to do some batting practice, while also interacting with the team. On Tuesday coach Fleming was seen briefing the side in practice session.
