A stunning comeback by Ravindra Jadeja in the Indian Test team is now reflecting on his rankings, as after breaking into the top-10 in the Test bowlers’ rankings, he is now among the top-five all-rounders.
Jadeja not only ripped through South Africa batting in the recently concluded four-match series, but he also played some important innings lower down the order.
The India all-rounder is now at fifth position, his highest, in the Test all-rounders rankings, in a list that is topped by his teammate and fellow off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.
Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan, Stuart Broad of England and South Africa’s Vernon Philander are other three players in the top-five of ICC Test all-rounders rankings.
Meanwhile, Jadeja is also in the top-10 of the ICC Test bowlers rankings at eighth place, behind Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood, who gained four places in the recent rankings.
