New Zealand vs India 2016: Indian Team Unchanged For Remaining Two ODIs

The Indian selectors have named an unchanged squad for the remaining two one-dayer against New Zealand. A 14-member squad has been name for the one-dayers in Ranchi (October 26) and Vizag (October 29).

Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Shami are not part of the squad. The selectors have decided to rest Suresh Raina, too. He was in the team for three matches but didn’t play owing to illness. The break will give Raina enough time to recover from viral fever.

India have a 2-1 lead over the Blackcaps in the five-match series after winning the 3rd ODI in Mohali on Sunday. They won the opening match in Dharamsala then New Zealand won the second in Delhi.

The Indian team is all set for a grueling home season. After the Blackcaps, India will host England for Tests, ODIs and T20. They will play a one-off Test with Bangladesh, and then a four-match Test series against Australia.

India Squad: MS Dhoni (c & wk), Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Jayant Yadav, Amit Mishra, Jasprit Bumrah, Dhawal Kulkarni, Umesh Yadav, Mandeep Singh and Kedar Jadhav.
