An ordinary day at the Bengaluru International Airport turned into a day to remember, when suddenly a group of children standing there starting chanting a very familiar name. Although, I clearly heard the name, but opted to ignore it because…well how many of us can expect to see MS Dhoni at an airport!
But, yeah, he was indeed Captain Cool standing there, and well no prizes for guessing his fans went berserk. The kind of humble person MSD is, he didn’t disappoint his fans, who were shouting ‘Dhoni…Dhoni….Dhoni…’ at top of their voices, and waved them, wearing a gentle smile.
It was a pleasing surprise to see the Captain Fantastic, who might have just concluded his preparations for the South Africa series. Full of energy, MSD was not showing any signs of fatigue, which was a good sign.
Despite his busy schedule and all the security he had with him, MS managed to squeeze out a time for his fans. Maybe that is the reason he is the most followed sportsperson, both inside and outside the cricket field.
MS Dhoni’s humble nature makes him fan favorite, and someone to one can look up as an inspiration. Youth icon, inspirational leader and Captain Fantastic, to name a few, are a few adjectives use to describe MS Dhoni.
Seeing the reactions of his fans, kids and adults alike, at the Bengaluru airport it seems he certainly is an inspiring figure.
