MS Dhoni The Untold Story has made it to the Oscars list beating movies like Sultan and Pink. The biopic features Sushant Singh Rajput as the Indian cricket captain, MS Dhoni.
Disha Patni, Kiara Advani, Anupam Kher and Bhumika Chawala also played prominent roles in the biopic. It shows the journey of India’s most successful cricket captain from the streets of Ranchi.
The MS Dhoni biopic is in contention for the best picture Oscar, according to the list of films released by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Wednesday.
Produced by Arun Pandey and Fox Star Studios, now the biopic aiming to make it to the final nominations. The Oscars Awards will take place at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood on February 26.
