Since his return to the Indian team, Yuvraj Singh has done enough to show that he deserves to be in the World T20 squad, and more importantly in the playing XI.
Yuvraj took a while to get back his element back. He played a few rusty innings. But, whenever a challenge was thrown at him, he delivered.
It’s no secret that Yuvraj’s favorite batting position is two down, but with players like Suresh Raina, Hardik Pandya and MS Dhoni, he hasn’t been able to bat there.
The Indian captain has praised the southpaw for adjusting to the new role in the team, despite not getting his favorite batting position in the line-up.
“Looking at this team it is tough to give Yuvi the no.4 slot, but he has adjusted,” Dhoni said about Yuvraj’s batting order.
“13-14 players they are all match-winners, that is the beauty of the side, everyone is taking responsibility to finishing the game,” he added.
