MS Dhoni is famous for his lightning-quick stumpings. It’s difficult to match his prowess with the gloves behind the stumps. However, the fans witnessed something unusual in the 2nd ODI against the West Indies.

This time, Dhoni didn’t feel like whipping bails in a flash, like he usually do. At the Port of Spain, he dismissed Windies skipper Jason Holder in a slow motion, and showed who is the boss around.

India had the game under control, as the Windies needed 138 runs off 42 balls. Holder and Roston Chase had formed a decent partnership, but Dhoni’s teasing work behind the stumps to dismiss the former ended their all hopes.

Dhoni is now just four stumpings away to reach the 100 mark. He will also be the first to reach the special mark. Former Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara has done 99 stumpings in 404 one-dayers.

The Indian team, meanwhile, registered a thumping win over the Maroon Brigade in the 2nd ODI. They outclassed the hosts in all departments of the game, and registered a 105-run win over the West Indies.
