Team India showed its chasing prowess in Mohali. Virat Kohli and captain MS Dhoni carried the team over the line with ease in a tricky run chase. The Kiwis were left bamboozled by the counterattack of both Indian batsmen.
The next game will take place at Dhoni’s home ground in Ranchi. And, it would be a perfect place for the Indian team to seal the series there itself. The Indian team is currently leading the five-match series 2-1.

“Winning is important but we are taking match by match and not thinking too far ahead on the result of the series.
New Zealand are a dangerous side,” Hardik Pandya said. “We will have to adjust according to the situation.”
It is unlikely that the Indian team will make any changes in the squad that played the last game. Even captain Dhoni was happy with his side’s performance in the last game, particularly bowlers.
Meanwhile, the Blackcaps have no other option but to win this one. They have been outplayed by the Indians so far in the series. Only in Delhi they managed to beat India, but it wasn’t a complete performance by any means.
