India got no respite on Day 2 in Rajkot as England continued to score big in the 1st Test. The Indians could only manage to take a couple of wickets in the morning session as the visitors were 450/6 at lunch.
Moeen Ali, as expected, completed his fourth Test century, before being castled by Mohammad Shami. Instead of going down, England’s scoring rate only increased after the dismissal of Ali.
