KL Rahul is one of the top Indian cricketers and has won hearts with his smashing performance on the cricket ground. The cricketer recently appeared on a Television chat show where he opened up about his struggle and hard time and how Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli helped him.
The cricketer was all praises for Virushka and on the show mentioned how they had a powerful influence on him.
KL Rahul said, “There was one instance after a match at Melbourne where I had a terrible performance. I was miserable and depressed. Anushka who noticed this came up to my room and asked me to accompany her and Virat to their dinner date. The couple talked me through their similar experiences and that helped me understand how to manage these situations better. They took immense care of me and ensured I was not alone. They even made sure I spent the new year night with them. They are an amazing couple and have really had a powerful influence on me.”
Rahul is also quite popular on the social media. The sportsman revealed that he told his family and friends to avoid sharing any news about him on the social media. The reason he told them to do so as he doesn’t want any of this to hamper his performance on the ground.
“Constructive criticism from experienced or elderly people is always good but it saddens me when I see young kids posting abusive content on social media,” said Rahul about social media.
