In the ICC tournaments Pakistan doesn’t boost off an impressive record against India. India have always been a better side, be it in the World Cup, T20 World Cup or Champions Trophy, pretty consistently.
Pakistan, however, has defeated the Indian team in the 2004 edition of the Champions Trophy. Although it was a one-off incident, but Inzamam-ul-Haq believes that his team can do it again. “We can win again,” Inzamam insisted.

Inzamam, meanwhile, pointed out that Pakistan not going into the tournament just to beat India. He insisted that Pakistan has a good side not only to beat India, but also to win the tournament.
“We are not going to England just to beat India but our prime target is to win the championship,” Inzamam insisted.

The high voltage clash between India and Pakistan will take place on June 4 at Edgbaston. India are heading into the tournament as defending champions, as they won the last tournament in 2013 under MS Dhoni.
England and Wales will host the tournament, starting June 1.
