The Indian Cricket Team will finish the year as the top-ranked Test team. Virat Kohli’s men have consolidated top-spot in the recently released Test rankings. They have 120 rating points, 15 more than Australia.
India recently hammered England in the five-match series 4-0. Earlier, they thumped the West Indies in the caribbean and then New Zealand at home. India don’t have any more games to play this year now.

The Indian players have also dominated the ICC Rankings. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are first and second, respectively, in the Test bowlers rankings. Ashwin also tops the allrounders’ list.
Kohli is the second highest batsman in Test and one-day cricket, while he is numero uno in T20s. KL Rahul, Karun Nair and others have also gained considerable places in the recently released rankings by the ICC.
Meanwhile, Australia now have 105 rating points, three more than the second-placed Pakistan. South Africa is fourth, followed by England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.
