Ravichandran Ashwin was again at it in the fourth Test match against England in Mumbai. On Day 1, the Indian off-spinner again took four wickets out of five. It was another clear case of one-man army.

In other words, Ashwin was just amazing. He used the conditions at the Wankhede stadium intelligently.

As the pitch offered a plenty of bounce for the spinner, Ashwin was right on top of his game. He was also immaculate with his line and length, which made him a dangerous customer to face.

By and large, England played good cricketer after long time. Despite the fact that England are already trailing by a 2-0 margin, there was a bit of positivity surrounding the England batting.

Debutant Keaton Jennings batted brilliantly to make a huge impact and also enabled his team to make 288 for five in 94 overs. In comparison, India were touch unlucky that there wasn’t anyone who could match Ashwin with his trademark style of picking wickets.

Without a doubt, all the other bowlers in the Indian team were spot on with their approach, but none of them could match the sheer brilliance of Ashwin. Left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja was equally economical like Ashwin.

He, however, couldn’t match the off-spinner’s typical mentality to get breakthroughs. Even Jayant Yadav did everything right. Still, it wasn’t good enough to rattle the opposition.

Again on the second day, India would again look up to Ashwin to do some trick, who is just 11 short of 250 Test wickets. Right now, he is the leading Test wicket takes in 2016 with 63 scalps from 11 Tests.
