Bangladesh have lost opener Imrul Kayes to a thigh injury ahead of the one-off Test against India. He injured his left thigh while fielding in the practice match against India A at the Gymkhana Ground, Hyderabad.
This is the same injury, which Kayes sustained against New Zealand during the Christchurch Test. In his absence, Soumya Sarkar is likely to open with Tamim Iqbal for Bangladesh in Hyderabad.

Bangladesh, however, have not named any replacement for Kayes. They, meanwhile, have added Mosaddek Hossain in the squad. Hossain is a middle-order batsman, who recently played T20s and ODIs against New Zealand.
It will be a test for Bangladesh to play against the in-form Indian team. They recently made to work hard in the practice match by India A, and will have a massive task in hand against the Indian team.
