Australia Team

Australia have announced their squad for the 2nd Test against India. They have named an unchanged squad, which won them the series opener in Pune. The Aussies won the opening match by 333 runs inside three days.

The pitch at the MCA Stadium turned squad, which might not be the case at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Australia, still, have retained both spinners – Nathan Lyon and Steve O’Keefe for the second game.

“For us it’s about continuing to do the same things. And, make sure our plans are in place for both innings. They can change. We saw that in the last Test (at Pune),” Australia captain Steve Smith said.

“In the first innings, guys were a little bit more defensive,” he added. “Then once we got a bit ahead of the game and conditions got a bit more difficult, that’s when you probably need to pull out some different shots.”
