Virat Kohli wasn’t particularly pleased with Australia, and he made it obvious in the press conference as well. The Indian captain was livid with Australia’s antics on the field in his team’s come-from-behind win.

An aggressive Kohli pointed out the instance when Aussie captain Steve Smith looked at the dressing room for DRS assistance. He even accused Australia for crossing the line on the cricket field.

“When he turned back the umpire knew exactly what was going on, because we observed that,” Kohli said. “We told match referee also, and the umpires, that they’ve been doing that for the last three days and this has to stop.”

“There’s a line that you don’t cross on the cricket field,” he added. “Sledging and playing against the opponents is different, but… I don’t want to mention the word, but it falls in that bracket. I would never do something like that.”

The Australian captain clarified that it wasn’t something intentional, and he had a brain fade at that time.

“So I turned around and it was a bit of a brain fade on my behalf. I shouldn’t have done that,” Smith clarified. “I was looking at our boys, so shouldn’t have done that and it was a bit of a brain fade.”
