Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is to just try one more time. But the Australian team is yet to pick up this philosophy whenever they tour India.
They have all the elements of a good team and their sheer dominance in world cricket isn’t a flash in the pan. But India is the only country which that my are yet to at all their authority.
They can stomach for any kind of challenge but it comes to tackling the Indian spinners, they call flat.

Australia were quite comfortably placed till the Indian spinners got their act together on Day 1. The likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Jayant Yadav ran through the Australian middle-order.
Most of the Aussie batsmen spent plenty of time in the middle. But, none of them, including captain Steve Smith, could convert their initial start to a big one. A lot of credit also goes to the Indian spinners.
The Indian spinners bowled in families conditions. There were the moment when the Aussies showed great temperaments against. But, at the end, the Indian spinners had the last laugh.
Also, the Australians lost a bit of battle in the minds before the first ball was bowled in the Test, as they kept thinking about a turning track that could pose a big threat to their team’s chance.
The fear of losing was so strong that they promptly opted to bat on a fresh pitch. From a 82-run opening partnership between Matt Renshaw and David Warner, they got bundled for 260 in their first innings.
It was a bad first innings show from the Aussies and the fact they have allowed the Indian spinners to walk away with the advantage, the touring team would have to up their game to catch up with the hosts.
