In the latest ICC bowlers rankings, India seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has broken into top-10 after gaining one place, while off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has moved one place to reach ninth.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin have 639 and 644 rating points, respectively, in the list that is topped by South Africa leg-spinner Imran Tahir. Mitchell Starc and Sunil Narine are second and third, respectively.
Ravichandran Ashwin, meanwhile, is also the highest-ranked Indian bowler in all three formats of the game. The Chennai-born is eighth in Tests, and fourth in T20s.
However, there is no chance in the ICC batsmen rankings, as Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and MS Dhoni have held their respective top-10 places in the ODIs.
Virat Kohli is third in the list topped by South Africa skipper AB de Villiers, while Shikhar Dhawan is sixth and MS Dhoni is eighth, followed by Glenn Maxwell and Aaron Finch, who completes the top-10.
There is no Team India player in the top-10 list of Test batsmen. Virat Kohli, meanwhile, is the numero uno batsman in the T20s, while Aaron Finch is second, followed by Alex Hales.
India is second in the ICC team rankings in the ODIs. They are fifth in Tests and fourth in T20s.
