Allrounder Ben Stokes is getting all the unwanted attention since he landed in the subcontinent. Recently, the International Cricket Council (ICC) reprimanded Stokes for his verbal altercation with Virat Kohli in Mohali.
Earlier, Stokes also got into an heated exchange with Bangladesh batsman Sabbir Rahman. He was subsequently fined 15 per cent of his match fee. Stokes also had a spat with Carlos Brathwaite during the World T20 final.
Meanwhile, England coach Trevor Bayliss said that the ICC is getting too harsh on Stokes. The English coach insisted that the allrounder is improving with each day, but added that he needs to get smarter.

“I agree things have been out of hand in the past, and we don’t want it to go overboard,” Bayliss said. “But sometimes a little bit of by-play between a couple of guys on either side who are passionate about their cricket and their team.”
“I think it’s good for the game. We’ve just got to be careful about what happens if we completely cut that out,” he added. “Having some personalities in the game is fantastic to watch.”
