Since quitting Test cricket, MS Dhoni’s retirement talks pops up every now and then. In almost every second media interaction he has been asked about his cricketing plans.

Dhoni has already made it clear that he is not calling it off. He is fitter than ever, looking hungry than before and still want to lead youngsters, like he is doing in Zimbabwe.

Former Australian batsman Dean Jones believes that there is no need to push Dhoni into retirement. He added that the Jharkhand dasher still have plenty of cricket left in him.

“We are pretty quick to push our great players out,” Jones said about Dhoni. “What’s Dhoni has done for Indian cricket, let him find his own time.”

“I don’t think Virat is in a huge rush to captain everything (format) at the moment,” he insisted. “Time will come. Trust me, you will miss Dhoni a lot more in India, when he retires.”

Dhoni is the best Indian captain across formats. He has led India to World Cup glory, while also adding World T20 and Champions Trophy to his cabinet of trophies.

“I think that will happen soon. Dhoni will end of as one of the greatest players India has ever produced,” Jones insisted. “Honestly, it is no big rush.”
