Who Can Stop this Royal Challengers Bangalore Team?

Thanks to Virat Kohli’s fourth hundred of this year’s IPL season, the Royal Challengers Bangalore are on roll. They have become an unstoppable team.

With likes of Chris Gayle and Ab de Villiers, too, making an impact with the bat, this team looks quite confident to be in the play-offs like last year.

The only weak-link in the RCB team is the bowling bit. Virat’s bowlers could be so toothless that even a score of 190 isn’t a safe enough to ensure a win.

Looking at this, perhaps, the RCB batsmen adopted an interesting strategy. If put to bat first, they turn up the ante by scoring massive totals. This approach is working quite effectively in the business end of the tournament.

The other strategy which RCB have adopted is to win the toss and chase down any target. They did it against the Kolkata Knight Riders other night and the team is again ready to do it again.

It doesn’t matter if the match is being played at home or anywhere else, this team is ready to rule the roost. The star-stud batting line-up is so impressive that even the law of average is not catching up with the likes of Virat anytime soon.

Understandingly, it’s a worrying situation for other teams in the competition. Last year, it was MS Dhoni’s brilliance that stopped the RCB from marching into the IPL final when they were knocked out in the eliminator.

They came third. However this year, things are different. We have to wait and watch which team has the bowling attack to stop the RCB onslaught.
