Success can’t be achieved without persistent hard work and who else would know better than Bangladesh. After their bowlers had to toil hard on a flat deck, their middle-order batsmen finally showed some character.
It wasn’t easy to fight it hard without buckling under pressure, but Bangladesh were at it. They showed in glimpse why they were able to beat a commendable side like England on their home turf.
After the likes of Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar were not able to muster enough runs, the Tigers were not quite there on a score of 64 for three. But Shakib Al Hasan and his captain Mushfiqur Rahim stayed positive.

They countered the Indian bowlers with great vigour. In the end, the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja did get a wicket apiece, but they failed to create the same kind of impact.
Bangladesh’s middle-order played the Indian spinners well. They dug the heel and posed serious threat for the India bowlers. Besides, Umesh Yadav’s two wicket, none of his colleagues could create their magic with the ball.

Despite showing so much courage in the face of adversity, the visitors still have a mountain to climb right now, as the real challenge could only be achieved if India would be made to bat again in the second innings.
Can the visitors throw that kind of challenge? Who knows? What we know that the Indian bowlers are the ones who are under pressure to perform and dismiss the Tigers.
That is why Day 4 would be important day to watch the proceedings of the Test match!
