Australia all-rounder Shane Watson has vowed to make life difficult for the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Team India in the forthcoming series at home, before the World Cup.
India are to play four Tests and a tri-series also featuring England for the preparations of the upcoming World Cup in Australia-New Zealand.
When Team India last toured Australia, they were hammered in the Test series and failed to reach the final of a tri-series, featuring Sri Lanka as the third team.
Watson insisted that the conditions will create problems for the famous Indian batting line up, despite having world-class players in the ranks.
“We are hopeful that the groundsmen are going to make the grounds very conducive to what we do (because) in India they certainly make sure the conditions are favourable to them,” Watson said.
“They (India) have got a lot of world class players, especially in their batting, but over here is a different challenge for them,” he added.
The first match of the Test series will be played in Brisbane on December 4, while the remaining matches will be played in Adelaide (Dec 12 to 16), Melbourne (Dec 26 to 30) and Sydney (Jan 3 to 7).
