Ashish Nehra has made it clear that he is not hanging his boots anytime soon. The lanky pacer, who helped India in winning the 2nd T20, said that he will continue playing till his body allow him to continue.

Nehra has made a comeback, again, into the Indian team after a break from cricket. The 1st T20 was his first match after he underwent a knee operation after 2016 Indian Premier League.

“I know how hard it is to stay fit because I’m a fast bowler and I bowl in the beginning and end both,” Nehra said. “But I’m enjoying my game and till my body is fit, I’ll keep trying and playing.”

“I played the last game after 7-8 months but I didn’t feel I was short of practice or anything,” he added. “When you are playing day in and day out, you get better with time but I personally don’t feel that rusty or anything.”

Nehra said that experience play a huge role in the Indian Cricket Team. He added that players who are not playing Test cricket need practice matches to get back into the groove.

“People like me or MS Dhoni who are not playing Test cricket right now, we have to play domestic games and ultimately experience does matter,” Nehra insisted.
